Akbank Jazz Festival

Untitled Document The 27th  Akbank Jazz Festival will take place in Istanbul on November  3 and 19, 2017. 

Providing a great diversity for its audience, from classical jazz to avant-garde tones, and from world music to the limits of electronic jazz, the Akbank Jazz Festival will feature some of the best musicians in the world jazz circuit.  

The festival will feature 53 concerts, three interviews and 15 workshops in 36 different venues including Akbank Sanat, Babylon, Caddebostan Cultural Center, Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall, Moda Stage, Nardis, Summart Art Center, The Seed,  Volkswagen Arena and Zorlu Performing Arts Center.

This year  Jazz Workshops at High Schools will be held free of charge in eight  high schools  with the intention of introducing  the young audience  jazz music and instruments better.

"Jazz on Campus concerts" will be held in a wide range of Anatolian cities between November 20 and December 1 as part of the festival.
