When you enter Kaleiçi and pass the second citadel descent, And Evi will attract you immediately. A passage from a court leads you to the building. The ground floor is arranged as an art gallery and when you climb the wooden stairs the second floor offers you a view overlooking Ankara. The inside is decorated with old carpets, kilims, accessories and antique furniture. The hidden and mystical corners of And Evi host Nargile (hubble-bubble) enthusiasts.

Light meals such as various kinds of salad and crepes, tea in delicate small clear glasses, Turkish or instant coffee, homemade cookies, cakes and sandwiches are served all day long. The surprise at teatime is warm simits with kaşar cheese… An overwhelming taste!!

Viewing Ankara in the company of wine and cheese may be another attractive alternative to keep in mind when visiting And Evi. Delicious varieties of Kavaklıdere Wines are available.

Don't leave the site before sunset!!! You can also make reservation for breakfast.

It is open everyday from 10:00 to 21:00 and is an excellent place to try for those who enjoy history, art and wine!
