Antonina from Bulgaria

Untitled Document Thanks to Antonina of Bulgaria with this interview.

Tell us about yourself
My name is Antonina. I graduated in Krems, Austria, subject Management in Tourism. Now I study a second year Marketing and Management subject in Technical University, Gabrovo, Bulgaria. I work at the same time as a web designer and I live in Bulgaria.

What made you come to Turkey?
Honestly said, the things which made me come in Turkey were my curiosity for this country and love. Even if it sounds strange, I haven't visit Turkey before meeting my boyfriend, who is Turkish. Actually, he provoked me in visiting Turkey.

What do you do in your daily life?
Of course, in first place I'm working. I also like nature and walking out when I have free time enough. When I'm able, I spend time with my friends - we go out together or listing to music, talk, enjoying life and good things.

Family?
I have one sister, actually we're twins, and I also have a parrot, a very cute bird, really. Mom is caring the house and daddy's working.

Can you compare your first days here with today?
I liked Turkey; I was impressed by the Turkish kind and friendly attitude to the foreigners and to the people at all.

Has living in Turkey influenced your approach to life?
My all days spent in Turkey were wonderful and I saved only good memories. I "felt" in love with that country.

Turkish language?
Turkish language? Wow... a little difficult in the beginning, but I started learning it and now I'm better in that. I like its structure, it is easy for studying.

Let's talk about the region you are living in?
As I've already said, I live in Bulgaria; it is a calm and good place for living.

Have you traveled in Turkey? Tell us your discoveries
I used a few times the transport in Istanbul. It is a really crowded city… but a nice one. I didn't have any difficulties, in exception that, there were people who didn't understand me when I was talking in English or German, but it's ok.

What is your preferred characteristic trait of Turks?
Well, I noticed, that Turks are very kind and always ready to help with everything, which is good really, I like that. In my opinion, Turks are cheerful, jocose and hard working people, who never give up to any difficulties. I also noticed they adore talking to every beautiful women they see …

What was the annoying one?
I didn't like that they are not loyal sometimes.

Turkish Cuisine?
I was amazed by the Turkish Cuisine, a lovely, delicious and very good one. Every meal I tasted was unbelievable good made…

Any suggestion to new comers to Turkey?
My suggestion to the people, who are potential comers in this region, is to be very good informed about their trip, about everything they will or they might need, every detail, it is important to be clear all.

Any suggestion to people planning to visit your region?
To those, who are planning in visiting Turkey I'll say, that if they come to Turkey exactly, they'll make a very good and right decision for having a wonderful journey in a great place, such as this country.
