Located on the shores of the Bosphorus, in one of the chicest suburbs of Istanbul, Bebek Brasserie has once more opened its doors following a summer-long renovation. Managed and run by Divan, Bebek Brasserie stands out with its unique cuisine and warm atmosphere.
The new interior design and decor of Bebek Brasserie is the work of Belgian architect Frederic Haesevoets, and it features a marine theme with ample use of wood. Boasting perhaps the most beautiful view of the Bosphorus in Bebek, Bebek Brasserie also has a new menu concept that has been prepared in consultation with Turkey’s first female executive chef, Çağla Önal.
Önal is also the executive chef at Divan Bodrum, and she has prepared four different options for Bebek Brasserie in the form of a breakfast, lunch, dinner and children’s menu. The venue also serves some of the most delicious examples of S.O.U.L Food (the Turkish abbreviation for “Healthy Organic Unexpected Flavors”).
The Bebek Breakfast, Belgian Waffles, Brioche French Toast, Eggs En Cocotte and Vegetable and Meat-Lovers’ Omelette are the most eye-catching examples of the breakfast menu.
Chicken Anglotti, Grilled Asparagus, Seafood Spinach Salad, Homemade Smoked Eggplant Ravioli, Slow-cooked Flat Iron are not to be missed in the lunch menu.
The dinner menu includes items that can only be found at Bebek Brasserie. The most impressive items are the Duck Confit and the Lamb T-bone.
For dessert lovers there’s Tracy’s Baked Apple Crisps, Bitter Chocolate Pistachio Truffle, Lemon Mascarpone Cake and Chocolate Hazelnut Cake.
Bebek Brasserie has also considered wine lovers. They serve 16 different types of wine by the glass out of a total of 61 different types of wine, and they have a wine cellar that consists of up to 500 bottles.
