Bilkent

 By Bahar Alptekin

Bilkent University Campus is organized mainly in 3 divisions.

One is Western Campus, the other is Eastern Campus and the third is shopping/dining division. While private education is handled in these two campuses the recreational area based on shopping and dining is for leisure activities.

Bilkent has a key role among academics in international arena. University administration motivates academics to produce and submit scientific papers and research in worldwide scale. I think whole country should be proud of Bilkent Spirit.

Ankuva is a cozy mall where you can find luxurious watches, cigars, clothing and cosmetics together with cafés and bistros serving variety of tastes anytime during the day… The German originated hypermarket Real provides the best quality food of Ankara. If shopping is pleasure and satisfaction then Real is the address. It is well known among shoppers in US that compulsive shopping is much; so make it moderate. Recently opened Starbucks is at cinema region. The movie theater of Ankuva screens latest movies both day and night. The seats are comfortable and decorated mostly in red.

Last but not the least there is Sports International…A luxurious club serving only to its members. It is composed of two buildings: One for gym where the pool, fitness equipment and facilities are and the second is for dining and nightclub. Big Screen TV enables its members and guests to watch sports events with joy and excitement. Fans celebrate the victory of their teams / individual players and share their happiness….

Tennis Tournaments are organized periodically and I love to be there. Sport is always good at any age. They call it Wellness pgm. It is a complete package. As you complete the package you feel much batter.

Today's world has combined the technology of Western world and the mysticisms of Eastern Cultures. The latest technology makes the fitness equipment with maximum efficiency. They say à When you build muscle you build character' …treat-mills, steppers, weight lifting is improving everyday. And the combination of west and east provides you a free-of-stress tranquil world. Stress Management is familiar to any businessman or professional. So while weight control and weight-loss programs are the concern of many people actually 'Feel well" attitude is the priority…

I think Sports International achieves its mission perfectly…
