|
Borusan Müzik Evi (Music House) was opened in a newly restored six-story historical building on Istiklal Avenue, Beyoğlu. The building was designed by a French architect and was constructed in 1875. The center has concert and rehearsal halls as well as space for seminars and dance performances.
The entrance floor of Borusan Müzik Evi is designed as an exhibition area. The concert hall on the second and third floors has a capacity of 200 people. The fourth floor hosts six rehearsal halls. The fifth and sixth floors are open to multi-purpose activities. The terrace offers a magnificent Istanbul panorama.
Chamber, jazz and world music and contemporary dance shows will be performed at Borusan Müzik Evi three days a week. In addition, BIFO cardholders have the opportunity to follow the rehearsals of Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra.
