|
|
Cam Ocağı is a school where student from every part of the world can meet respected instructor, again from all over the world. One of the primary targets of Cam Ocağı is to bring together Turkish glass art with world glass and in this way give life to our gradually diminishing glass art. The establishment of the Glass Furnace will revive the Turkish glass art by combining the traditional and the contemporary, thus producing an exquisite cultural richness.
The Glass Furnace, with its long and short-term courses focusing on different techniques, offers participants a creative environment where they can work on glass, produce and exhibit their own designs. Students participating in the Glass Furnace courses will find themselves on an enjoyable campus surrounded by amazing nature by the banks of the Riva, far away from the crowded city life.
The Glass Furnace is part of the Glass Furnace Foundation, a non-profit organization.
A professional production line contributes to the financing of the institution.
Everyone interested in art glass is invited to this unique place where different
cultures, experiences and ideas come together and interact, where art is combined
with nature.
