Christ - Kırım Kilisesi

It is originally Crimean Memorial Church located behind and below the Swedish Consulate on Istiklal Caddesi. It was closed in 1970s due to the lack of community but again opened to worship in 1991. The largest and most handsome of the city’s Protestant churches, it was designed and built after the Crimean War in 1856 by the famous British architect C.E. Street. It has neo-Gothic structure and all of the stone stuff used in building was brought from Malta. Morning prayer at 09:00, evening prayer at 18:00, Sunday communion at 10:00
