International Istanbul Music Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV) is celebrating its 40th anniversary in between May 31 and June 29, 2012.

World-star Madonna will take stage in Istanbul on June 7.

The 1st Ankara Shopping Fest will take palce on June 9-29.

The 2nd Istanbul Alışveriş Festivali/Shopping Fest 2012 will take place on June 9-29, 2012.

The historical Aspendos Theater, Antalya is hosting the 19th Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival on June 14-July 4 and September  3-15.

Megadeth, famous trash metal ensemble will take stage in Istanbul on June 19. 

Judo - European Cup Seniors Championship will take place in Istanbul on July 14-15, 2012. Istanbul will also be hosting Judo – World Women Cup on October 6-7, 2012.

Dead Can Dance, after 15 years, will take stage in Istanbul once more on September 19.

Istanbul will be hosting famous tennis players at TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships on October 23-28, 2012.

The 31st International Istanbul Book Fair will take place on November 17-25, 2012.

The 11th edition of the FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) will take place in Istanbul on December 12-16, 2012.
