(Under renovation)This multi-purpose cultural center is also called AKM. It hosts several activities such as opera, ballet, theater with its Great and Small Halls with a capacity of 1300 and 520 respectively and a 1200 m² Exhibition Hall at the entrance. AKM also houses the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, Istanbul State Modern Folk Music Ensemble, Istanbul State Classical Turkish Music Chorus. The State Symphony Orchestra gives concerts every Friday at 19:00 and Saturday at 11:00. You can attend to these concerts either subscribing beforehand or buying ticket at the same day. There is always a "Guest Star" on these concerts. For more information you can consult to the ticket office.

This old church recently welcomed several concert activities with its capacity
of 1300, especially during the Istanbul Festival. Aya Irini with its acoustics
and interesting construction, fascinates the attendees.

Borusan Müzikevi (Borusan Music House)
Borusan Music House is located in a newly restored six-story historical building on Istiklal Avenue, Beyoğlu. The building was designed by a French architect and was constructed in 1875. The concert hall on the second and third floors has a capacity of 200 people. The fifth and sixth floors are open to multi-purpose activities. The terrace offers a magnificent Istanbul panorama. Chamber, jazz and world music and contemporary dance shows will be performed at Borusan Müzik Evi three days a week. In addition, BIFO cardholders have the opportunity to follow the rehearsals of Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra.

Caddebostan Kültür Merkezi (Caddebostan Cultural Center)
It is the biggest cultural center of the Anatolian Side and was opened in 2005. It has two halls with the capacity of 650 and 125 people. Caddebostan Kültür Merkezi -CKM- also houses concerts, plays, conferences, international symposia and book days as well as art exhibitions in the foyer art gallery.

Cemal Reşit Rey Konser Salonu (Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall)
This Hall with a capacity of 550 people belongs to the Municipality of Metropolitan
Istanbul. It also has two big exhibition halls. The concert programs can be
obtained from any one of municipality units and are published monthly.

Cemil Topuzlu Açık Hava Tiyatrosu (Cemil Topuzlu Open-air Theater)
The one and only open-air theater in town has a capacity of 3950 and houses
many cultural activities, especially Festival concerts on warm Istanbul summer
nights.

IKSV Salon
IKSV - Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts performance hall “Salon” is located at the entrance and the first floor of Deniz Palas, IKSV’s new building at Şişhane. Salon is designed to host classical, jazz, rock, alternative and world music concerts, theater and dance performances, activities for children, panels and conferences. It has a capacity of 250 people seated and 600 standing. Salon will enable various types of performances with the movable stage system.

Iş Sanat Istanbul Salonu
Istanbul Salonu is the latest concert hall with a capacity of 820 and
located at Iş Sanat Merkezi in Iş Kuleleri. The tickets for the
concerts can be obtained from Biletix without any “service fee”. Car
parking is free of charge after 18:30 for the visitors who present
their concert ticket.
For transportation you can use Metro-Levent Plazalar exit. Moreover
free service cars carry the visitors to the concert hall from the car
park next to AKM at Taksim at 18:00 on the nights of concert and take
them back to Taksim after the activity. Free service is also available
for the ones coming from the Anatolian side, however it is only on
weekends and the vehicle takes off from Kadıköy, Haldun Taner Sahnesi
and again leaves the passengers there after the concert.

LütfüKırdar Kongre Merkezi (LütfüKırdar Convention Center)
The oldest sport hall in Istanbul. It was converted to a concert and convention
center for the "Habitat" meeting in 1996. From time to time you can
have the opportunity to attend concerts and shows here. After the concert, don't
miss out eating at the famous Borsa Restaurant, just beneath the
center, which has one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Istanbul. The
restaurant is considered one of the leading representatives in Istanbul of Turkish

Mustafa Kemal Merkezi (MKM Cultural Center)
Mustafa Kemal Center (MKM) is a six-story cultural center. It is located at TEM highway and Levent junction at Akatlar neighborhood of Municipality of Beşiktaş. The multi-purpose Atilla İlhan hall has a capacity of 1000 people and hosts plays, stand-up shows, musicals, concerts, film screenings.

Süreyya Operası (Süreyya Opera Hall)
Süreyya Opera house is an opera hall located in Kadıköy. It was originally designed by Süreyya İlmen Paşa to serve as an opera house and theater and was constructed in 1927. It is the oldest opera house on the Anatolian side. However, due to lack of technical facilities and equipment operas were never staged and the venue was rather used as a movie theater until recently. After the two-year restoration by Kadıköy Municipality Süreyya Opera was reopened in 2007. The audience capacity of the opera hall is 570 seats. The ballromm on the second floor can accommodate 500 guests. Süreyya Opera house is home to Istanbul State Opera and Ballet performances that are staged three days a week.
