You can find various kinds of fish according to the season. There is a saying that fish can only be eaten on the months that have “r” in it, that is January, February, March, April, September, October, November and December. Due to the restrictions on fishing during the summer months most of the fish sellers convert their counters to sell watermelon or close them until the end of the restrictions.
Most of the supermarkets have fish departments. Moreover while speaking of fish the Balık Pazarı should not be skipped.
