Foreign Medics to Work in Turkey
The decree is published in the Official Gazette on November 2, 2011 and amended laws dating back to 1928 that had prevented foreign nationals from working as physicians or nurses in Turkey.
The decree allows the employment of foreign medics in Turkey under temporary contract basis of up to three years.
The priority will be given to foreign citizens that have their med or nursing education in Turkey.
