Istanbul Film Festival

The 37th Istanbul Film Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (Istanbul Kültür Sanat Vakfı - IKSV) will be held between April 6 and 17, 2018.

This year, the festival will host 210 films by 218 directors from 43 countries in 18 different categories. Followers of the festival will be watching films ranging from the latest productions of world cinema to cult films, to the latest Turkish films and the classics, new discoveries, masterpieces, and hidden treasures .

The festival promises amazing two weeks with Q&As and festival talks with guest filmmakers, concerts, and other special events.

Atlas and Beyoğlu  movie theatres, as well as Pera Museum Auditorium  in the Beyoğlu district,  Cinemaximum City's Nişantaşı, Cinemaximum Zorlu Center in Gayrettepe ,  Kadıköy and  Rexx movie theaters  in Kadıköy are the venues of  this year’s festival.  .

All screenings of all foreign films will have electronic Turkish subtitles. All screenings of all Turkish films will have English or French subtitles.

Tickets for the 37th  Istanbul Film Festival can be purchased  through Biletix and at box offices of  Beyoğlu Atlas,  and Kadıköy Rexx Movie Theaters .

Yapı Kredi Culture Center, will be the festival center of the 37th Istanbul Film Festival. The center, which will host press meetings, panel discussions, festival talks, seminars and other related events, will be the heart of the festival.
