Re RETIRING IN TURKEY - only bring essentials, as most things are so much cheaper in Turkey. No limit on number of boxes you could send via courier DHL or similar to your developer. Car best bought in Turkey, as too much bureacrocy with too many countries to go to get here. Most things are a lot cheaper in Turkey than overseas, so try selling all and have fun bargaining for replacements when you arrive.

What about retiring in Turkey? What are the requirement? Is there a minimum income level? What about importing household goods, automobiles, etc. if you have a residence permit?
