For anyone needing special information from a chemist, I recommend the Sevgi Eczanesi behind the big PTT in Faith...Speaks English and trained in America and makes up lotions to suit your needs, and very very cheap... I thoroughly recommend him.

Good tip on the duty pharmacy hotline. Another useful source which requires less Turkish is http://eczane.tr.net. The site is in Turkish, but the form that you´ll need to fill out is self-explanatory (don´t bother with the ´semt´ field, it may skew your results).

you may find the information I provide useful, since it saved me so much time and money by avoiding long drives to find a pharmacy on duty. The quickest way to find the pharmacy on duty in your neighborhood is to call 118 (Unknown numbers services). They do not speak english, yet they might be able to direct the call to someone that speaks.
another possibility, if none of your friends speak turkish, is that you may ask your neighbor to make that phone call, ask about the exact location of the pharmacy and drive there directly in emergency situations.
calling 118, asking for a pharmacy in duty in my neighborhood, then calling the pharmacy and directly ask about their address, driving directions, and whether they have that drug saved me a lot of time and efforts.
I hope it helps to somebody one day.
