Finally savory crepes under 10TL in the Turkish capital.
Lemon Tree is a Canadian owned, Canadian run business in Ankara specializing in crepes. I was there last Friday and much to my amazement the crepes are perfect as staff from several embassies make the place their stop for lunch.
Open from early in the morning through the early evening, one can enjoy delicacies like Paninis, toasts, American style biscuits, world famous illy coffee, hot chocolate and tea.
For later in the day there are savory crepes such as spinach and cheese, mushroom and cheese, egg and cheese, smoked turkey egg and cheese.
On the sweeter side there are crepes with plain confectioners' sugar, with jam (strawberry, peach, apricot, sour cherry or plum). Now, last but not least, for those into lemon, there is the homemade lemon curd crepe to finish off a light lunch.
The menu also has salads and sandwiches and classical Turkish breakfast with Turkish tea.
