Maci
Maci is a cafe restaurant in Gayrettepe next to Dedeman Hotel. Although it is famous among the business environment, young couples and women are also the customers of Maci at lunchtime and in the afternoons. It is named after its owner is Mrs. Macide Akgün and her husband Atilla Akgün is responsible of the decoration, which is calm, comfortable and modern. The shining chandelier adds motion to this minimalist decoration.
The service is excellent, the menu is quite rich and offers varieties on Mediterranean Cuisine. Besides Maci's famous pizzas, light entrees such as caprese and carpaccio, salads, warm sandwiches, fresh macaronis, chicken schnitzel, fillet slices, grilled salmon and robespierre are among the delicious dishes. Everyday a different meal is added to the menu as "dish of the day" and it was mantı when I was there. A small bowl salad and a main course or only a big bowl of salad is filling. The beef (or chicken) salad or fillet slices served by noodle and vegetables are worth trying.
The desserts are home made and delicious. Brownie, tiramisu and pudding with mastic and apple pie are the alternatives.. You can also drop Maci for a cup of coffee and the coffee menu is satisfactory. The price is reasonable; 17-20 million TL/person. It is open everyday except Sundays, between 11:00-23
Try Maci!!!
