Moments from the Summer

by Sabiha Ayral

Hi,
It is a very beautiful feeling to be alone with you.

I am an Istanbulite living in Ankara. Alas, "C'est la vie"… Anyhow, I decided to have a seaside vacation this summer. But I wanted a vacation where the sea is clean, where my brain can rest, and where I can make pleasing friendships. You may not believe it, but I was able to find all of them at Imbat Motel on the coast of Bademli Village, in Assos-Çanakkale.

The motel has only 20 rooms and does not have a proper road. Yet the customers of Imbat Motel either come every year or come on word of mouth. The owners Seyfettin and Güzin Yücel make you feel at home. The customers are modest people who spend their time reading and swimming. It is an ideal vacation place where one can embrace nature and nobody disturbs anybody.

You can relax on the hammocks in the garden filled with high trees or sunbathe on three different platforms and swim. All rooms are air conditioned and have private WCs and baths.

I woke up at 7 every morning and, after performing my daily Chi-Gong with my French and English friends whom I met there, had breakfast. The owners prepare delicious home-made food for every meal. You may join in enjoyable chats and can make pleasant friendship. I had a superb vacation at a superb site where I sent my reiki energy during sunsets.

If you long for such a vacation, don't hesitate to go to Imbat Motel. I strongly recommend it. Imbat Motel is open between May 19 and September 20. Full-board price is 60.000.00 TL/person and reservation is required.

Love,
Saboş
