Beyaz Fırın

Beyaz Fırın
Beyaz Fırın is the oldest pastry shop on the Anatolian side of the city. It
is famous for bread, Turkish sweets, special chocolates and diet products. The
cakes, especially the bavaroise, are excellent. The shop is open everyday from
06:00 to 22:00.
Divan
Divan has several branches in various districts and is open everyday from 08:30
to 23:00. The original shop of the Divan chain is the one at the entrance of
Divan Hotel Elmadağ, which also has a small café. You can try Divan signature
tastes at their Cafés throughout the city. Their Turkish Delight is world-famous
and their cakes consistently delicious. Almonds covered with chocolate and cacao
called Prenses Badem, are a specialilty
Pelit
Pelit is the second oldest pastry chain in town and it is open everyday between
07:00 and 22:00. Their Mekik (shuttle shape cookie) and krokan fıstık
(pistachio covered with caramel) are not be missed. The framboise gateo is also
a favorite of Istanbulites.
Baylan
Baylan is located at Kadıköy Çarşı and is one of the oldest pastry shops on
the Anatolian side. The shop is open every day between 09:00-20:00. The unique
special ice cream Kup Grillé is its specialty. Its pleasent garden is
open to customers in summers while in the winter it converts to an indoor café.
7-8 Hasan Paşa
This site is located at Beşiktaş Çarşı and famous four its Turkish-style cookies.
It is open everyday between 08:00 to 21:30. We suggest you try Portakallı
Kurabiye (cookies with orange.)
Art Café
Art Café is on Bağdat Caddesi at Selamiçeşme. It is open everyday, except Sundays,
between 08:00-19:30. It offers delicious home made tarts. If you are lucky,
you might get a seat at one of the 3-4 café tables.
Paul
Paul has several branches along the city's major throughfares. It is a café-bistro
and therefore open everyday from 09:00 to 22:00. Its bread, chocolate cake and
tarts are delicious.
Foodie
Foodie is open everyday except Sundays from 08:30 to 20:00. Chocolate éclair
and diet orange cake are among their specialties. You'll also find a selectiion
of elegant gift packages there.
Savoy
Savoy is the cake paradise in Sıraselviler, open everyday from 07:00 to 22:00.
It has a rich variety of baked foods for the breakfast table, and an almost
unrivaled on éclair and profiterole.
Gezi
Gezi has branches in Etiler and Taksim. They are renown for special cholocaletes,
especially "truffe".
