It is also possible to find copies of various antique statues and objects. Dösim and Gesav are two reputable shops selling examples of traditional Turkish handicrafts still kept alive.
Every foreigner coming to Ankara has surely visited the Bakırcılar Çarşısı at Saman Pazarı at least once. It is located at Salman Sokak towards Ankara Kalesi and is the most authentic place on copper goods.
Nevertheless any object even a small İznik tile or a handmade Turkish tablecloth it will sure add a different taste to your house.

Dösim is run buy Ministry of Culture. Carpets, kilims, accessories made of wood,
copper and glass, silver ornaments, clothes with Turkish motives are among the
products they sell. It is open every day between 09:30 – 18:00, on Sundays between
11:00 – 17:00.

Gesav (Geleneksel Türk El Sanatları Vakfı)
Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Foundation was established in 1989
with the aim of exhibiting, introducing and sale. Silver, copper, glass, ceramic,
wooden and textile artifacts. Open everyday except Mondays between 10:30 and
18:30.

The gift shop of the Ministry of Tourism. You can either admire or
purchase carpet, kilim, stone figures, ceramic, leather, copper, wooden and
mother-of-pearl laid objects, silver ornaments and textile products. Open week-days
between 09:00-17:00, weekends 10:00-17:00.
