St. Valentine's at Marco Polo

Marco Polo is probably the best dining restaurant of the Capital. The ambience is demi-classic. There is a private dining room besides the restaurant. Piano and viola are the instruments of that special night.

The instrumental versions of well-known songs created nice atmosphere during dinner.

The menu was also special and there were four kinds of distinguished wines.

Here is the menu:
Marinated and smoked home-made salmon with beetroot salad.
Wine: Narince Kavaklidere 1999
Celery soup with brown bread croutons
Pan-fried grouper fillet with light pepper sauce and polenta

Wine: Chardonnay Sunrise 2003 Chile
Slices of duck breast on rosti with vegetable mousses and balsamic sauce/ Fillet Beef in puff pastry with truffle jus and broccoli
Wine: Cabernet Sauvignon Trapiche 2003 Argentina /Shiraz, Oxford Landing 2001 Austrilia

Cappuccino and filtered coffee were our choices with heart shaped pralines to complete the St. Valentines Day.
