I really appreciate your excellent article on the Pomagranate. I have a tree outside my window and look forward to the bright red blossoms in spring. These blossoms and their development into the fruit can be observed more easily than any other fruit, I think.
As a child in the midwestern U.S., I was fascinated by pomagranates after reading the myth of Persephone in Hades and begged my mother to buy one. They were very hard to find then and very expensive, but she bought one and I took it to school.
Thank you for the article.
